Coffee Please

What smells better than coffee?  Jeanne Defibaugh from New Enterprise, PA nothing does.  So Jeanne made this adorable card after searching the internet for a good CASE.  Here is what Jeanne came up with.  Using the stamp set from Stampin' Up! called  Perfect Blend.  Jeanne ground coffee beans and adhered them to make the circle behind the cup.  Hence the delicious smell.  Three little bean also embellish the front.  Good Work Jeanne!!

Note the stirrer on the cup.  Cute, cute, cute!  (Jeanne where did that stirrer come from?LOL)

My Clever Scapbook Club Members

 The pages I have posted today are by Sally Van Why who lives in Bedford, Pa.  Sally is a retired Teacher and is used to making use of the items she has to make bulletin boards and other items for the children.  Sally has converted her thrifty ways into using left over negative pieces and other scraps into her scrapbook pages.  The out come is lovely.  Here Sally has used the negative of dies we used to make leaves and re-purposed them in a very clever way.

Sally is making a Scrapbook of her home and favorite things in it during the four seasons.  Another clever idea from Sally.  On this page we had some background paper leftover and again leaf negatives.  Very pretty Sally, we applaud you and your creative ideas.

What a Winter

 WE woke up to a good 9 to 10 issues on Monday morning.  This winter will just not stop.  We have had the fireplace on every day.  Thank goodness we have one.  Our puppy likes the snow and goes out with Daddy as he shovels the driveway.  But when she comes back in she is like shot out of a cannon.  Flies through the  house like she is on fire.  Up on the sofa and off again, around the table and then stops on a dime to get her treat.  What a mess, good thing we named her Diva.

The back yard view past the yard and down to the next street.  Snow was still coming down.

Ground Hog Day Card from Boys

 My Grandsons, Sam and JX made this Little Ground Hog Card for us since we live in Pennsylvania.
We thought it was so cute.   Note that the grass is actually their thumb prints.  Clever little way to have the boys engaged in stamping.  The back of the card says Created by S& X  Made us laugh.

 The envelope came addressed to My Mike and Mal Mal.  Another smile came to our faces.  Nice on a cold winter day.  Warmed everything up.

Here are the boys Sam (9 almost) and JX (2) and their Daddy Todd.  Their Mom was the brains behind the creation though.

March  21 and 22 1:00 until 3:30 join me in making this sweet card holder with handles and 8 cards and envies.  All stamps, paper, and ink will be supplied.  Bring your adhesive and scissors.
