More SNOWFLAKES

Another card from my Hostess Club member Cindy Powell of Bedford, PA.  Celebrating the New Year with Snowflakes seems appropriate since we have seen many freezing temperatures and several snowflakes.

Mike and I are currently on  our way to Houston Texas for Leadership with our Boston Terrier, Diva.  Will have some posting for you until I get back and if I can figure out how I will try and post some from Leadership too.

NOT TOO LATE!

Today I am sharing with you cards made by Cindy Powell, from Bedford, PA.  She has been a loyal member of my Hostess Club for several years now.  Cindy was traveling to visit with family over the holidays and so she designed this Winter Happy New Year Card above and one below for her friends and family.  It's never too late to wish people a Happy New Year and I give Cindy credit for realizing you didn't need to stress but to send out New Year's Greetings instead of Christmas Cards this year.  May be we all should take a lesson from Cindy.  :-)

HAVE A CUP ON ME!

Today's card is a very simple cased card.  The cup is from the Holiday catalog Stamp Set called Scentsational Season.  The Holiday Collection Framelits Die cut out the cup and Dazzling Details added the steam.  Special Delivery is from the Stamp Set with the same name.  Enjoy.

Another Winter Card

I like doing cards that can be used for multiple occasions.  This little penguin is from the Christmas Stamp Set called NO PEEKING.  This little guy can easily be used for a Valentine or winter Birthday card.  Switch out the colors and make him look even different.  Could be a Pittsburgh Penguin even.

BLACK AND WHITE

This technique is called Triple Time Stamping.  You layer the three Whisper White pieces and stamp the snowflakes in Stazon Black.  Separate the three pieces after they are stamped and insert the Basic Black Card Stock pieces between.  I tied the black ribbon around two layers.

I added approximately five rhinestones to various snowflakes.  The card can be used for a variety of reasons during the winter months.

Snow Much Fun

This little gift card could be used as a full sized card.  A winter card like this can be used for any occasion which falls during the winter months.  Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and Silver Glimmer paper are all used to make this little guy shine.
