A Jeanne Special

Well I think for most of us Baby Boomers this needs no explanation since our children probably all played with one of these.  This is a cute birthday card cased and created by Jeanne Defibaugh a member of my team and fellow demonstrator.  Do you know the name of the set that has the Legos in it??

TWO STEP STAMPING

Hello everyone, today we have a multiple of colors in these cards.  April Round used the same two step stamp set called, Stippled Blossoms to make all of these cards.  A fast way to have several cards on hand for those unexpected events.

A Forest of Christmas Trees - Festival of Trees

An interesting card that I cased.  This card uses our new Designer Series Paper except for the Real Red Card Stock tree.  This is a perfect card to use your left over scraps.  I put a few Rhinestones and a small gold ribbon bow.  Peace and joy to you and your family!!

Wondrous Wreath in Silver

This is one of my favorite cards this year.  I love the red bow for some reason.  They sentiment on the front is from a retired set I believe. I double stamped the wreath with Silver Ink and then punch 1/4 inch round holes in the wreath so the Red Glitter paper.  The bow on top has a Rhinestone and cut from Red Glitter paper using the framelit from the set.

LESS is More with this Christmas Card

I think this card came out really nice.  I didn't want to use much color on this card.  I think it turned out well.  We used the 1/2 circle punch to cut out the berries using the Red Glitter Paper.  Used Stampin' Up! markers to color in the leaves and the Ornament.  A silver pen for the ornament topper.

Here is a better close up of the card.  I like this embossing folder and added a little "Merry & Bright" from the special Hostess Stamp Set, Good Greetings.  Let me know if you think also less is better.

Ornamental Pine Stamp Set

This is the second Christmas Card I made using the Ornamental Pine Stamp Set.  They look so different.  The first was a lovely blue winter scene and as you can see I used traditional colors on this card.  One pine cone is popped up and Dazzling Diamonds was using on the cones to give them a little bling.  I used Gold Ink for the Christmas Greeting.  The Gold Ribbon added and extra touch.

Holiday Home Christmas Card

Today the card is using the Holiday Home Stamp Set and Framelits.  This little stamp set is awesome as you can use it all year round with the little add on's that come with it. The Real Red and Marina Mist Card Stock work well together to give us an evening scene.  The snow flakes are stamped in White Craft Ink and come from the same stamp set.  U

A Winter Scene

A little blue in this card with a lot of Dazzling Diamonds.  Island Indigo and Soft Sky Card Stock was used.  I love our glitter paper.  It does not shed glitter once it is on the card.  I did case this card.

I did have to add a little Real Red on our blue card.  I used the pine cone to add a little something to the inside of the card and also on the outside of the envelop.

The Star Framelits

I love red and used it allot of it for Christmas cards this year.  One of my favorite things is having framelits that match stamp sets.  It makes it so nice not to hand cut everything.  Thank you Stampin' Up!

Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Ink and wide ribbon.  A little silver ink and a Rhinestone.

Festival of Trees

The three trees are stamped in black using the  Festival of Trees Stamp Set.  I made two black Christmas Cards this year which is a little unusual for me.  I love both of them.  Stay tuned to see the second one.

The littlest star framelit tops the one tree and the little cardinal is flying across the top.  The Triangle Embossing Folder makes a nice background.

I added a small piece of DSP and a retired stamp for the inside of the card.  If you like it please leave me a comment.

Festival of Trees and Lovely as a Tree

Today another Christmas Card.  Will be sharing these all month.  I love it when there are framelits or punches to cut out the stamps.  I actually just used the tinsel stamp from Festival of Trees and just punched the Night of Navy Card Stock.  I also used the new Star Border punch and a little vellum.  The star is punched from Silver foil paper that matches the Silver Ribbon and stripes on the vellum.
The background is stamped using Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set.

Scrapbook Christmas Pages

I cheated a little on these pages which are actually the same except for using different Designer Series Paper.  How did I cheat?  I used the buildings from some of our Christmas paper this year.  I used Dimensionals to pop up the trees and the buildings.  The 6 by 6 Christmas paper pad gave me the right Designer Paper for the center and borders too.

The Snowflakes were cut using the Snowflake Card Framelit and the Dazzling Glitter Paper.  Let me know what you think of these pages please.

Christmas Scrapbooking Pages

Well first off the title on these pages did not turn out well and I was not drinking  lol  Oh well, I will place some pictures or something over the title as I like the pages and will use them no matter what.  I should my class these pages even with the mistake in the title as we are not perfect but we are homemade pages with love.  Take Santa out of the moon and this could be a winter or snow scene.

I inked the house stamps with Craft White and cut them out from Card Stock paper using the matching Framelits  The snowflakes came from different stamp sets.

A New Born King

Well, it is December and I can't believe it.  Time moves fast even if you are retired.  The card today is from my Christmas Stamp A Stack.  I used Early Expresso to stamp the manger scene.  I used the marker to color in.  I really loved the Cherry Cobbler Ribbon Stampin' Up! had this year.

Hand Made Signs by Tori

My daughter, Tori Sheppard, is so very talented.  Here are some pictures of her signs she paints.  They lived in Georgia but have moved to Morgantown which is only two hours from us.  So happy for her talent and also for them now living close to us.  Priceless!

The CEO of Coca Cola purchased this sign.  Yes I am proud.  :-)

THE RED DOOR with a Wreath.

One of the Christmas Cards I made this year.  Cased and loved by me.  Instead of using the Wonderous Wreath on the door (which would have been too large) I used punches to make it.  I added a few Red Dazzling Detail berries.
