Work of Art III

Again the Work of Art Stamp Set was used in this card that I saw others use and put my own twist on it.  I wanted to use the new Mossy Meadow Ink and Card Stock for my Open House.  I did use Melon Mambo for the flower and I added a dimension with some Hello Honey DSP for the center of the flower.  Inside I used additional stamps from the Work of Art as well.

Work of Art II

Hi, I have another Work of Art Stamp Set card for you today.  Again another Ombre card too.  I used Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, and the new In-Color Blackberry Bliss.  A tiny punched out flower (I know) in each color too.  The sentiment is also from Work of Art.  There is a tiny rhinestone set in each flower.  This is one of the cards I used for my Open House last month. Card Stock is Whisper White and the Blackberry Bliss.

Work of Art

Well as promised, there are no flowers today instead I used the new Work of Art stamp set to create this Ombre Card.  I used Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie and the brand new In-Color Tangelo Twist both on the zig zags and the dots on the tag.  The tag is made with the Scalloped Tag Punch which makes creating tags so easy now.  I used some of the new Satin Ribbon Tangelo Twist .  A simple card that can be done in 15 minutes and into the mail box, without extra postage I might add.  :-)

A a little add on for the inside of the card.  Again most of my customers like to write their own notes.

Flower Shop and More

I know what you are thinking, does Sandy only do florals.  Well, I try hard to do other things but I always come back to florals.  I just can't help myself.  However, in the next few days I will post several cards that are not florals that I have done.  I promise.  :-)

The main color used for this card is Perfect Plum.  I have not used Perfect Plum in sometime and realized that I wanted to give it a go again.  Funny how we or I tend to reach for the same colors.  I used the Perfect Plum to stamp the Petite Petals and the Flower Shop blossom.  The "Hi" is from a retired set called Regarding Dahlias and it too is stamped in Perfect Plum.  I also used the Scallop Circle Bigz Die and the Circle Framelits layered on top of one of our Doilies.  The Pennants were run through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

Cool Watermelon

Isn't this the cutest Watermelon you have seen in a long time.  Once again my downline, Jeanne Defibaugh has created a very darling card.  Perfect to send during the hot days of summer.  I am sure you can pick out the punches and framelits Jeanne used in her creation.  Jeanne surfs the web all the time for great ideas and this is just one of many she has found.

Please let me know if you are interested in placing an order or receiving one of our new catalogs.

"THE BOYS"

If you give boys a ball they are happy for hours.  :-)  Samuel and JX had a "ball"  LOL

After just a little while, both dogs decided they needed to get in some play time.  I mean boys and ball are just too much for puppies to handle without joining in the fun.

So glad our grandsons are living only two hours away instead of in Atlanta and 11 hours.  It is wonderful to have them even 2 hours.

Happy Puppies

I hate to admit this but this is how our dogs greet our friends they have not seen in awhile.  Well, only the friends that let them anyway.  How do they know who will accept their loving kisses.  Kim Steele does for sure.  She and her family were visiting from VA and Sir Winston and Diva could not help but tell Kim how much they have missed her.  LOL

Lots of Doggie Kisses!!!

Flower Shop with a Twist

You may not know this but though I live in Pennsylvania I can be your demonstrator even if you live in CA or any of the states in the USA.  Patty Holscher lives in Springfield, VA and she has been a good customer of mine for several years.  Stampin' Up makes it so you can order through me and receive your order directly to you door.  This is possible since SU has now provided us with the opportunity to accept orders from anywhere in the USA and have them mailed directly to you.  It is a great option if you see a demonstrator's blog you love and want to support them.  I am hoping that demonstrator will be me of course.  :-)

Patty made this card and sent it to me for my birthday in May.  I am just getting around to posting.  (sorry)!  Patty used the Painter's Tape Technique that we did in our Stamp Club several months ago.  I love the colors Patty used and how she stamped the Stazon Black Flower Shop flowers over the painters tape lines.    Very clever too to use the painters tape on the inside of the card.  Thanks Patty,, you rock!!

Oh Happy Day!!

I love it when Framelits and Stamp Sets work together to make my life easier.  The Stamp Set used for Oh Happy Day and Celebrate is Starburst Sayings.  The Framelits are the Starburst framelits.  So sharp and perfect when the stamped image is popped out.  I also used the Burlap Ribbon 11/4 inch and Retro Fresh Washi Tape used on the front panel and inside as well.  The DSP retired from the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog.

Good Thoughts

Today's card could be used for many occasions even graduation.  I used Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, Whisper White, and Smokey Slate to complete the card.  Add a button, star and some baker's twine and the card is done.  A simple but affective card.  One that could be used for gals or guys.

Flower Shop Thinking of You

This is a card from my Stamp Club last month.  So many of my customers like Birthday Cards or Thinking of You cards because they can be used for so many different occasions.  I used several tools to make this card including, the Bigz Scallop Circle Die, a circle from the Circle Framelits, Leaf Framelit from the retired Backyard Framelits, a square punch to make the banner ( I could have used the Banner Framelit but didn't), the bubble Embossing Folder, and lastly the Pansy Punch for the flowers.  The Flower Shop flowers top off the card with a Pearl Embellishment..

Pool Party and So Saffron ink pads and Black Stazon also were used.

Basket Full of Posies

This card was inspired by Dawn O who provided a nice tutorial on how to make this basket.  The Hardwood Background Stamp provides the wood grain for the basket.  I used Petite Petals Stamp Set for the flowers and love it because it also has a Punch that coordinates with it.  I used dimensionals to create the three dimensional affect.  The flowers are Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red Ink.  Two Chocolate Candy Dots help create the handle on the basket.  The handle was made using circle Framelits and the basket using an Oval Framelit.  A tiny pearl is the center for the flowers.

Timeless Talk

Good day.  I am sharing a card that was inspired by another Demonstrator's card.  I love the whole CASE that we are encouraged to do.  Copy And Share Everything.  There are several products used in the making of this colorful card.  The Zig Zag Embossing Folder on Real Red.  The Daffodil Delight was cut with the Starburt Framelits as was the Whisper White to stamp the phone on.  A little Real Red flower and a Daffodil Delight Candy Dot for the center.
