GARDEN IN BLOOM

 Good Morning,
Today I am sharing with you a special event I had a little while ago with my Club Members.  We made two of five different designs using the same Stamp Set.  Garden In Bloom was used to make all of the following cards.  I cased some of the cards and designed some of them as well.  This was the first time I had used one single stamp set to do a Stamp-A-Stack.  It went over well.

Good News is this set has carried over to the new 2016-2017.  How do I know, well its not on the Retiring List.

IN THE MEADOW

The Hearth and Home Framelet makes such a nice opportunity to show off different stamp scenes through the window.  Cindy Powell used the In the Meadow Stamp Set for her window scene.  While this Designer Series Paper is retired the framelits and stamp set are not.    Notice the flower pot.  Can you guess which stamp set the pot is from?

The inside of Cindy's card is as adorable as the front of the card.  Very pretty Cindy.

Some Masculine Cards

This card shows a great use for Washi Tape.  Jeanne Defibaugh made this card for her Dad.  And below Jeanne did a simple and effective card for Father's Day.  Thanks Jeanne for sharing.

Apple of My Eye

Both of the cards shared today were made during one of my monthly Club sessions.  The card above is from the Stamp Set, Apple of My Eye which is on the retirement list.  The card below was made using the Sale-A-Bration free set named What I love.  I also used the Confetti Embossing Folder and a little Wink of Stella.

PROJECT KIT - Enjoy the Little Things - Day 2

This is the second day I am showing pages from this Project Kit.  As I said yesterday, I really enjoyed using this kit.  If you are a demo looking for a nice kit to end the 2015-2016 season this is a great kit to do.  I did include scripture on many of my pages, however, that is not required.  I got this idea from Rhonda Wade and appreciate her sharings.

The Easel is a very nicely made piece.  If you are a cook, it would be nice to use for recipes as well as you prepare food.

This is my last picture of this kit.  I laid out all of the pages for the easel.  I  hope I have encouraged you to go ahead and order this kit. Please let me know if you would like to order one from me.

PROJECT KIT - Enjoy the Little Things

Today I want to share the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit.  I really enjoyed doing this kit with some of the members of my Card Club.  I want to thank Rhonda Wade for giving me the idea of including Scripture on many of the sheets to this kit.  I selected my own scripture, many of which are not the main stream scripture that we all have memorized.  I wanted the scripture to be unique so we could focus on some new words from the Bible.

Of course you do not need to add Scripture, but when I saw what Rhonda was doing I knew I wanted to do my own version.  I also added additional embellishments on some of the pages as well.

Here is the sad piece, if you want this kit to do for yourself, you need to order immediately as this kit is on the retirement listing.

I put a sticker on each stamp set that is being retired each year.  You see my yellow sticker on the set above which goes with the Enjoy the Little Things Kit and goes by the same name.  If you wish to purchase the kit you may also wish to order the stamp set as both are retiring and only available while supplies last.

The above page I completed just as shown in the kit instructions but I did add a scripture.

On this page I added some pearls and scripture plus a little gold heart which was stamped from some of the extra gold paper.  All Stampin' Up! kits have extra items included.  For example, there is lots of extra paper once you punch out the words from the shiny gold paper.

Tomorrow I will share the rest of this kit.  Please stay tuned and check in tomorrow to see the other sheets.

Scrapbooking Butterflies and More

 Good day all,
Here are two sets of double 12 by 12 Scrapbook pages I use in my Scrapbook Clubs.  I love the large Swallowtail Stamp.  I colored him by using daubers and three different shades of ink, Lost Lagoon, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.  I did color in his body with a black marker.  The other two sizes of butterflies were stamped on whisper white.  The stamps are from the Papillon Potpourii and also inked by using the daubers

I used the Curvy Corner Punch on the corners and also a strip of Washi Tape.

These two 12 by 12 pages were done by using FREE paper from Sale-A-Bration.  Cardstock used included the Lost Lagoon and Calypso Coral.  Also used some of the Delightful Dijon Lace Ribbon.

Red and White with a Little Green

This pretty fresh looking card was cased by Jeanne Defibaugh.  I like the way Jeanne rounded the corners on this card.  Notice the lattice work on the card too.  So pretty.

A Nice Cuppa Take 2

More from the Stamp Set and Framelits "A Nice Cuppa"  This set is retiring so I want to show you another card made with this set by Cindy Powell.  Above is the front of Cindy's card.  Note the little tea pot embellishment.  Cindy almost always participates in my SHARES and I know this is where she picked up the embellishment.  So cute how she uses it.  Cindy is always one for a little bling so she used some gold bling on this card.

Below is the inside of her pretty card.  Again Cindy adds gold paper to make it all shine.  Not the Curvy Corner punch is used on the inside of this card.   Obviously, Cindy poured tea in these cups.  See the tiny little tea tag on the front and inside both.  Cute!

Spring Wreath Thank You

I have been sharing cards done by some of my Club Members the last few days.  Today I have an original card designed for me by Sally Van Why from Bedford, Pennsylvania.  Sally used Old Olive and Rose Red with the Wreath.  The Circle of Spring Stamp Set is NOT on the Retiring List.  The wreath stamp is so versatile.  We can use it for almost every season but Christmas.  Unfortunately the Curvy Corner Punch is on the Retirement List so if you are interested in getting this punch please let me know before it is gone.

A Nice Cuppa

I am sad to say the Teapot and Cups in A Nice Cuppa are all on the Retiring List.    It is a shame as I have not gotten to use them as often as I would like.

The above card is a beautiful card using the A Nice Cuppa and framelits by Cindy Powell from Bedford, Pennsylvania.  Cindy has been in my Card Club since my beginning of my holding them.
I did case the card below and used it in my Card Club.  Cindy liked the idea and made you card above for a relative on Mother's Day.  Unfortunately, Cindy's Mom passed last year but Cindy is honoring her children who are now Moms.  I really like how she used the pearl accents on both the Teapot and her up of tea.

I hope you enjoyed using this stamp set and framelits as well.  Leave us a message please.

In the Meadow

Cindy Powell is at it again.  Today I am sharing her Masculine Happy Birthday Card.  Do you have a problem with trying to come up with nice male cards.  Most people seem to say they do.  Here Cindy has used several different Stamp Sets to make this card come to life.  Do you know where these mountains come from?  If you said Pennsylvania, you are correct..... no just kidding.  The mountains and trees are from the Stamp Set named IN THE MEADOW.  No deer on this card but a great use of the mountains and tree stamps.

And this is the inside of Cindy's card.  Here she uses the positive and the negative of the numbers framelits.
