Forest Friends

Easter has just passed but I wanted to end the month sharing this little guy with you.  When Forest Friends came out in the Stampin' Up! 2010 Idea Book and Catalog I immediately wanted the set.  Brenda Ferrell from Tallahassee, Florida did a real nice job on these rolling hills.

Easter Blossoms

A pretty combination is Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise, however, Early Expresso or Soft Suede would do the trick too.  Lynn Boyle used the Easter Blossoms stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog (good through April 30, 2011) to make this Springtime Smiles card.  The Framed Tulip Textured Embossing Folder was used and SU Water Color Crayons.

Triple Layer Punch

This is a cased card I did for an upcoming workshop.  The first card I have posted using the new Triple Layer Punches in the upcoming Summer Mini due out May 1.  This is the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.  I used Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and a touch of Marina Mist for the ribbon, along with Whisper White for the background.  I put the entire front through the Big Shot and added a few polka dots to go with rounded theme.  Stamps Sets:  Thanks a Million from Word Play on inside and Teeny Tiny Wishes for Thank You on front of card.

Take a Bite out of this Card

I wish the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator who made this card would have put her name on the back.  It is so stinking cute.  See the bite out of it.  She used the Eat Chocolate stamp set in the Occasions Mini good through April 30, 2011 to make this chocolate card.  Early Expresso and Real Red compliment each other.  Last trick is using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice to enhance the background.

Easter Cross

What a perfect card for this week.  A very lovely lady, Carolyn Sharkas, who I met at the Orlando Regional Stampin' Up! Event made this card.  She said she used the Wood Grain Background Stamp and then punched to create the cross.  I thought this was such a clever way to make it look real.

Baby Blossoms

Didn't Alice Hancock do a wonderful job of creating this sweet card.  Using the Baby Blossoms from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog and the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The only word I can use to describe this card is "sweet."

Easter Blossoms

Eggs Hiding in the Grass reminds me of the Easter Egg Hunters I used to have my daughter, Tori and son, Kyle years ago.  This is such a pretty spring card made by Maria Lema.

I used the Easter Blossoms set for the card I sent out this year.  I admit I kept it simple in order to save postage.  Sending out twenty cards it starts to add up.  :-)  Here I used the Stampin' Up! Pastels for the little flower blossoms on this branch.

SNEAK PEAK -- Summer Mini

IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE SUMMER MINI!  Here is a sneak peek at two of the new floral stamp sets you will see in the Summer Mini, Fabulous Florets and Flower Fest.  I have also used a piece of the New DSP Beyond the Garden.  Background paper is simply the Fabulous Floret flower stamped with Wild Wasabi Ink.  One thing I love about this card is the punches I could use to punch out the flowers.  I highlighted the punched flowers and butterfly with the Stampin' Pastels and added a little Jewel Basic Rhinestone.

Trendy Trees and Big Shot

One of the gals, Sue Lepako,  made this little Easter Treat for all the members on our Team.  Isn't it sweet!  Sue used the Trendy Trees Stamps Set and turned the tree upside down to make the carrot.  Then combined the use of a Big Shot Die Pillow Box (page 206) and the Snowflake Punch to make the carrot.

Still More Nature Walk

Love this stamp set, so here are more Nature Walk postings.  The Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was used to enhance the background cardstock.  Plus the tag edges have been distressed.  Of course the Botanical Gazette DSP was used as well.

This Nature Walk card is by Kathy Winland, a Stampin' Up! Supervisor from Laurel, Maryland.  She used Old Olive, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla, Marina Mist and River Rock to complete this card.

Nature Walk and Botanical Gazette

One of the nice things about going to the Stampin' Up! Orlando Regional Event was receiving the stamp set, Nature Walk and getting to make some Make and Takes using it and the Botanical Gazette DSP.  Here are four of the five 3 by 3 note cards I made.  The Thank You Kindly stamp set was also used here.  We also used some of the Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake Seam Binding.  I really enjoyed making these little ones.

Another card I made was this one I like to call "The Bird Cage" card.  I used Cherry Cobbler, Natural Ivory, Not Quite Navy card stock and of course Botanical Gazette DSP.  The surprise is Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint used on the Bird Cage.  It gives the card a little special twist.  Seam Binding and Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and Buttons used too.

Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper

I haven't focused much on the Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper but I love all of it.  Here is a Thank You card using the Springtime Vintage DSP.

This lovely card was made by Barbara Benoit.  She used the Springtime Vintage DSP.  Note the Itty Bitty Buttons in the right hand corner with punched flowers behind them and accented with the littlest of pearls.

Punched Easter Bunny

I used a combination of tools in developing my Easter Bunny card for the grandchildren and grand-nieces this year.  I cased a card by Lois Phoenix with some changes here and there.  I used the Big Shot and the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions; Stamp Sets:  Easter Blossoms and Hello Again; Oval, little heart, and Trio Blossoms Punches and some discontinued inks DSP and cardstock.  Here's hoping the kids like them as that is what counts!!

The Easter Blossoms stamp set is a favorite of many this year.  It is still available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30, 2011.

Birthday Bakery

All the frosting glitters on this cute little birthday card made with the Stampin' Up! current hostess level 1 stamp set, Birthday Bakery.  Debi Pippin used Dazzling Diamonds on every cake.  Card Stock includes textured Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Basic Black.  The Stampin' Up! Marvelous Markers were used to color our little cakes.

Final Press

Sue Manlove, Manager, Stampin' Up! used a combination of the Textured Impression Embossing Folder and SU punches to create a card entitled "It's the Little Things."  Only one stamped image on this card.  How many punches do you see used?

Create Banner Using Broadsheet Alphabet and Nature Walk Sets

This pretty banner was one of the "Make and Takes" at the Orlando Regional.  I understand other Regionals made it too.  For those of you who were unable to attend a Stampin' Up Regional Event I decided to post it.  The cardstock used includes Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Nature Ivory, Marina Mist, Old Olive, and Botanical Gazette DSP.  The distressing was done using Early Espresso and other inks include Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive and a surprise Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.  Circles are outlined with Dazzling Diamonds for the bling.  The Big Shot Petal Cone Die was used for the pennants.   13/4 Circle Punch and 23/8 Scallop Circle Punch plus Itty Bitty Shapes Punch was used.  I placed the banner on my Scrapbook Wing (as my husband calls my room) door.

Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Isn't this an elegant thank you card.  I really like the Black with the Pink Pirouette  and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Up! Card Stock.  A small Basic Pearl is used to accent the embossing.  This is a unidentified swap from Regionals.

Interesting how every card is different even when using the same textured embossing folder.  Here one of the Stampin' Up! In Colors, Concord Crush is used with Very Vanilla Card Stock.  So pretty!  A Basic Rhinestones are used to accent the folder on this card front.  Another un-signed card from Regionals.

Bold Blossoms

Hi Everyone,
I really like the simplicity of Bold Blossoms and have used this stamp set on two cards I made recently.  Hope you enjoy.

Cupcakes Galore!!

The Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog is where you will find the cute stamp set, Create a Cupcake and the new Build a Cupcake Punch which Marianne Perry used when she designed this darling cupcake card.   Marianne uses Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White card stock plus Dazzling Diamonds and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Perfect Polka Dots.

Hard to see but the Crimper was used to accent this cupcake card.  Isn't the glittered cherry on top the best.  Unfortunately I don't have a designer name to attach to this Create a Cupcake card.

Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips

This pretty card was made by Gail Vogt from The Villages, Florida.  She used the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder with Awash with Flowers Stamp Set.    Added a little Dazzling Diamonds for some bling.

A "Thinking of You" card by Margie Slyck from Palm Harbor, Florida.

I wish the lady I swapped cards with at Orlando Regionals had put her name on this card but she did not.  She used pretty embellishments with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder to create this card front.  Cherry Cobbler is one of my favorite colors too.
