Our Girl Diva

 This is our Black and White Boston Terrier.  She has had about enough of this winter weather.  We have just started having a few days of sunshine and Diva does not want to miss out on it.  She loves being outside and she loves soaking up the sunshine.

When Diva is not outside she begs Daddy to play ball with her.  This was fun until the new puppy Winston came along and now he tries and successfully takes the ball from Diva.  Everyone was good till that little brother came home to live.

Scrapbook Pages and Amour Hearts

Above is page one of this two page layout.  I used Designer Series Paper, Amour and cut out tons of hearts using Stampin' Up! punches and framelits.  The lace hearts are cut from two pieces of the DSP.

This is a close up of all the patterns in the Amour DSP

The banner in the top right corner uses Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine and one of the retired roses to give it a little extra pop.  I also used the retired Border Punch for the side trim.

Scrapbook Pages full of Hearts

I am a little late posting these Scrapbook Pages that I cased with my own twist.  I realized that if I adhered the hearts made with the Large Heart Punch at the bottom of each one I could then lift them and place a picture under them when I was ready to finish my pages with photographs.

The hearts shown in each top corner are from SU Silver Glitter Paper.  I peeled off the plastic back coating so the hearts would adhere with the Tombow adhesive runner.

Open House and Guests

 At my first Open House, we made four cards.  Two of the cards were from Stampin' Up! Card Kits.  I realized that I often don't talk about our beautiful card kits so I thought it would be good to highlight the kits during my Open House.  Above Sally Van Why is looking at her finished card with me.

Ice Hockey

This is my son, Kyle, who lives in Orlando, Florida and loves the Solar Bears Ice Hockey Team.  Orlando and Ice Hockey don't seem like they would go together but they have a very good team and my son has season tickets.  Recently Kyle was selected to go down on the ice and race another contestant to put on a hockey player outfit and then shoot the puck to try and make a goal.  Kyle won that contest in a heart beat.  Made us all proud.  LOL

Sweater Ribbon

This month in Card Club the emphasis was on quick and simple.  Sometimes we just need to get a card put together and out the door.  I used our the New Tag Punch and the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set both from the Occasions Catalog.  Once again I used Sweet Sorbert Designer Series Paper which is free with a $50 product order from SALE-A-BRATION through March 31.  The White Sweater Ribbon is soft and will easily go through the mail without extra postage.

The card stock is Starfruit and Pool Party with Black Stazon Ink.

Occasionas Catalog - Petite Petals

We have had enough winter for one year, may be even for one decade.  lol  So I am ready for some spring and spring colors.  Card stock used is Whisper White, So Saffron, and Coastal Cabana which is one of five colors from the 2013-2015 In Colors.  Ink includes So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango and Baked Brown Sugar.

Stamp Sets:  Perfectly Penned Get Well and Flowering Flourishes. Also the new set from the Occasions Catalog is the Petite Petals and the coordinating punch.  A very popular pair.

 Embellishments used for centers to the flowers are Candy Dots.  Good news is Candy Dots will go through the mail without extra postage.  :-)

The inside of this card is left so a personal hand written note can be provided.

Petal Parade and Starbursts

 These are my last two scrapbook pages for my Club this month.  The background card stock is Smokey Slate.  The other card stock used is Crisp Cantaloupe and Basic Black.  The DSP is from SALE-A-BRATION 2014, Sweet Sorbert. 

I made my changes to this cased layout.  Above card stock also includes Starfruit from the 2012-2014 In Color Series, Whisper White, and Pool Party.  Ink is Crisp Cantaloupe.  Oh Happy Day could refer to any event or day of the week.  The Starburst stamp set and framelits are from the Occasions Catalog which runs through June 1, 2014.

For Scrapbook Club this month I cased and added my own twist to two pages using the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper which you can receive free with a $50 order through March 31.  Love that Stampin' Up! DSP is double sided for more options.  I tried to use every side I could in this layout.  lol

Our New Little Guy

Today I would like to introduce you to our new little guy, Sir Winston of Hawthorne Manor.  LOL
He is a red Boston Terrier and 5 lbs at 11 weeks.  We lost our dear Boston Terrier, Luke in January 3 and decided that we wanted to get another not to replace Luke but a new puppy to make new memories with.  We have a little black and white Boston named Diva and I must say she is not thrilled about the new baby brother at all.  But then I can understand her feelings since he runs after her and nips at her all the time. 

After having three traditional black and white Bostons, Winston's colors seem strange.  He is adorable and active.  Allot of work for sure but also so much fun.  He makes us laugh all the time with his little actions.

Hope you enjoyed seeing the latest member of our family.  I will be scrapbooking his and Diva's adventures for sure in the upcoming months.
