Scrapbooking CAKE

As promised here are two more pages we did in Scrapbook Club last month to go with the two I showed yesterday.  Several Punches and Dies were used to make the Birthday Cake.  The candle light were made using the wing of our Bird Punch.  :-) The Happy Birthday is retired however in the new Catalog we have new Alphabet Framelits that can be used to make the sentiment across the cake.

I like the little Framelit banners that come with the Balloon Framelits I used yesterday.  What do you think of my cake?

Scrap Booking a Birthday

I friends,

I wanted to share a couple of 12 by 12 Birthday Pages with you.  The Stampin' UP! Birthday Designer Series Paper retired but if you are like me you never get a chance to use it all before it goes.  That's okay if you have some left because there is nothing wrong with using old paper.  The new 2015-2016 Catalog has some beautiful new paper in it as well.  So you can just substitute the paper if you do not have this stamp set or paper.  I used Tangerine Twist and Mossy Meadow as my card stock

I think may be framelet and thinlits are my favorite tools to use.   But ask me on another day and I may give you a different answer.  lol  The thin Gold Ribbon was just on as a special so I picked up a few rolls of it too.

My Monagramed Note Card Class

 Did you know Stampin' Up! continues to carry Note Cards and they are only $5.99 now or $6.00 in the new catalog page 149 no. 131527 whisper white or 133766 crumb cake?  They include the envies too.  This is the best bargain going.  When I saw the Sophisticated Serifs Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog I knew I wanted to do a Class using the Note Cards.  The class was a success.  Here are some of the examples that we used to make our Note Cards.  Hurry though because if you want the Sophisticated Serifs Stamp Set you can only get it through June 2 and then it is gone.  No.137161 on page 44.  There are 65 stamps for $45.95.  You may click on my link at the bottom of the page to order but remember the Note Cards will carry over  but the stamps will not.
