Word Play and Build A Cupcake
There is no way this card will show up on my blog as pretty as it turned out. The Crimper is a tool that is not used enough by me. Here it helps give these little cupcakes some punch. A Rhinestone on the wish gives a little extra sparkle too.

SAMUEL
Such a happy boy when Sam goes fishing with his Dad at the Lake.
Sam is totally into Star Wars and has ever since he was three years old. It may help that his Daddy has his own Star Wars collection from the 70's. Sam always makes us laugh with his characters.

A May Workshop in Fairfax, VA
Thought I would post some pictures from one of my May workshops. This workshop was held in Fairfax, Virginia even though I currently live in Pennsylvania. Just goes to show you can do workshops in-state or out-of-state. Stampin' Up! is loved no matter where you live. It is wonderful to see ladies who come to the workshop saying the are not artsy finish their cards with a big smile on their face. So rewarding as a demonstrator to see the magic. :-)

FIRST COMES LOVE, THEN COMES MARRIAGE, THEN COMES THE BABY CARRIAGE!
I have not done a baby card in awhile and for no reason I decided I wanted to do one. I used the paper piecing technique on this card. First you stamp the carriage on the background paper and then you stamp the main carriage on patterned paper and cut out adhering it to the already stamped image on your white background paper. It gives a great look. I used the Jewel Rhinestones on the wheels for a little extra pizzazz. Speaking of pizzazz, I used the Designed Series Paper (DSP) and Stitched Poly Ribbon Pear Pizzazz for this card. Stamp Set used is Stampin' Up! Fun and Fast Notes. Don't forget the BIG SHOT for the scallop square too. If you would like to place an order please email me at sandyengland@embarqmail.com.

Poor YAYA
Our baby girl had growth on her crippled leg which turned out to be cancer. Dr. Morris took it off this week but YaYa had to have a cast to protect her foot while it heals. Her brother, Luke, cried like a baby when I took her to the Vet's Office. She is doing great now. She can run right along side of Luke. She just pushes off with the yellow case.......should I say Daffodil Delight cast. LOL Always thinking Stampin' Up!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!
My Upline, Denise Foor, made this beautiful Cherry Cobbler birthday card for me. I love red. She used the Stampin' UP! Bigz Dies, Lattice, and Designer Series Paper. The BIG SHOT was used to emboss and then cut out the red medal embellishment. And the Lovely Letters Alphabet set just make the whole thing perfect. Thanks SIS, it is one of the prettiest cards I have ever received. You can see more of Denise's creations on her blog, www.denisefoor.blogspot.com

Storage Solution for Stampin' Up Embellishments
I went to Dress Barn last week and saw this Hanging Holder. It has 30 plastic see through pockets on each size so it provides 60 pockets total. Guess what, the Stampin' Up Embellishment holders fit perfectly in the small pockets. A total of six larger pockets are across the bottom so I put my large buttons and medal embellishments in those. The Holder is $19.99 at Dress Barn and if you have a 20% coupon well then it's cheaper. I have mine hanging on the outside of my door with an over the door dress hook. Now I have everything in plain sight for me to remember I have (lol) and use more often.

Punch Bunch - 2011 SAB
You aren't going to believe what Marlene Carcary of Tampa, Florida used to make this pretty rose.....the Owl Punch. I met Marlene at the Orlando Regional Event and she was sweet enough to explain how she took the Owl Punch and clipped him to form this rose. Honestly, I'm not sure I have the patience to do this. I think it is such a pretty card. Here is what she used: Stamps: Punch Bunch from SAB 2011; Paper and Inks: Whisper White, Pirouette Pink, Old Olive; Accessories; Old Olive Ribbon, 11/2 punch, Owl Punch, 5 petal flower, Square Scallop Punch, Perfect Polka Dots, Scallop Trim Border, Beautiful Wings, and Pearls.

Mother's Day Cards
These two cards I received as swaps but the ladies failed to include their names on the back as requested so I cannot give credit where credit is due. I wanted to share these beautiful Mother's Day cards since the special day is just around the corner. The second card uses the Build a Blossom stamp set and Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder plus the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Of course I love the colors used as well, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi Card Stock and Ink.

Strength and Hope
The Summer Mini Catalog includes the NEW Strength and Hope Stamp Set used here with the NEW Designer Series Paper (DSP) Beyond the Garden shown on page 23. Stampin' Up! is donating $2 to the fight against breast cancer for every stamp set purchased. This set can be used in so many ways. Pink for breast cancer, red for heart disease or as a general greeting card as I have done here. Hints for the colors used in this card: It is Tempting for me to see Daffodils everywhere I go this Spring and to feed the birds Crumbs as I make my travels. LOL

NEW SUMMER MINI - Bold Blossom
Happy May Day!! This card I cased directly from the Summer Mini which starts today, May 1 and runs through August, 2011. The stamp set, Bold Blossom, is on page 7 along with a copy of this card. I changed it up a bit with a few minor differences and substituting the white Grograin Ribbon for the stitching. I really like the NEW Triple Layer Punch. Here I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.
