TRIP to See SANTA

Today I have a picture of my Grandsons who live new Atlanta.  Sam is almost 9 and JX will be 2 on December 29.  As you can see Sam knows the ropes but JX on the other hand is saying bye in his little southern draw.....I'm out of here!  LOL

Well Frosty is back.  I bought the original Frosty in 2001 and this year he came back in a smaller version in The Best of Christmas.  I used Stazon for Frosty and White Craft Ink, plus Real Red Ink for the rest.  Markers make Frosty come to life.  :-)

RIC RAC and Scalloped Punches

I was going to say, it's almost time to count our blessings but stopped and realized we need to count our blessing every day.  I haven't decided on pictures for the above page but I have a feeling they may include family when I do.  I cut the scalloped punched circles in half and used them as a banner.  I do like these colors together.

A Little Pimrose

 Good Day!

Well this Designer Series Paper,  DSP, is  retired but the color isn't.  The card is mostly all PRIMROSE.  Stampin' Up! scalloped punches are used for the front of the card with a In Color 2012-2014 Dahlia.  Page 169

Another Dress Pop'n Cuts by Karen Burniston is used along with a sentiment from Feel Good Stamp Set.

Another Rainbow Background

RAINBOW BACKGROUND

Good Day!  Today's card features the Rainbow Background Technique, where you use Stampin' Up! markers half way down a piece of watercolor paper and then hold the paper up and spritz with plain water.  As the color runs down the paper you have a rainbow affect.
The Stamp Sets used are retired and the rain drops are rhinestones.

Samples of the Chalkboard Technique

Today I have posted examples of the Chalkboard Technique that I made in a class.  The above card is using the Stamp Set, By the Tide and the piece below is using Oh Hello (in case you didn't recognize it).  lol

This is a very different look from anything I have done before.  I think I like it best on Black Card Stock as it reminds me most of the old chalk boards we had in elementary school.

This card is a fast and simple card to  make but the neat thing is it introduces the new product from Stampin' Up!, WASHI TAPE.  This particular tape design is from the Gingham Garden Collection.  It goes on real easy and adds color to your card in seconds.  Hope you like it.

Retired Stuff!

 Good Day,
One of my Hostess Club ladies, Jeanne Defibaugh is always telling her husband she needs more STUFF!  Always makes me laugh and happy too .  LOL

Today this card is about retired stuff.  I made this at my sister, Denise Foor's house,  It is a little whale swimming along to make some soul feel better.  The Bashful Blue used here is still one color I like even if it is retired.

The Karen Burniston Card Base Pop'n Cuts is used and folded to make this card half the size of the regular size card.   In the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog Karen has a new Label Pop'n Cuts which I am going to order and be using in the new future.

Delicate Doilies Sizzlits

Good Day,
The card today is on Crumb Cake Card Stock and uses a variety of the retired DSP 12 by 12 Stacks (you can substitute the new DSP Stacks if you wish to case this card).  Not only is the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits used but also the TICKET DUO BUILDER PUNCH with Winner stamped on it from the You are Amazing Stamp Set on page 15 of the Stampin' Up! Catalog.

onths.    I love that she used a Rhinestone on each lite fuse.  She knew we would be going to a restaurant so the saysings is perfect (also from this set).

OH HELLO!!!

Good Day, Love summer colors.  This card is using the Tangerine Tango, So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise plus one of our paper doillies.  The ribbon is a retired line.
The card itself is using Karen Burniston's Card Base Pop'n Cuts Dies.

I cased the inside idea for this card from my sister, Denise Foor.  I used the Window Sheets and stamped with White Stazon with the Pleasant Poppies Background Stamp from Stampin' Up!  Then colored the flowers in using Sharpies.  The Dress Form Pop'n Cuts by Karen Burniston was used but cut off on the top and bottom to make the table which a Doiley was then placed over it.  The mirrow was made using the Designer Frames on page 190 and cut out by hand placing Brushed Silver Card Stock inside to make a mirror.  The sentiment has been left off until I know exactly how I want to use this cheery card.
